Home User Support Services

1. Home User Internet Annual Support Plan

For individual users using the Internet as a source of information, email and personal records, this plan offers support services, as required, in a cost-effective and unobtrusive manner, (with minimum shock at times of emergency!), and provides all our labour-based services for a single, fixed-price, annual fee. You may consider it as your computer insurance policy!

The package includes all hours spent related to, but not restricted to, the following:

  1. System faults, breakdowns and other emergencies 
  2. Preventive routine system maintenance where applicable (inspection, cleaning of printers, cooling fans, etc.)
  3. Operating Assistance and basic user tutorial support
  4. Computer upgrades
  5. Software installation and configuration, and maintenance upgrades
  6. Provision and installation of selected software which we recommend for improved Internet performance and security (antivirus, firewall, intrusion detection, etc.)  
  7. Provision, on short-term loan, of backup computer equipment
  8. Installation of any additional components (printers, scanners, cameras, CD/DVD, UPS, etc.) purchased through ourselves.

In addition, we will provide advice and assistance concerning new security issues and items of concern discovered through our experiences with other user problems, and other sources of technical information and expertise.

These services will be provided as required, without restriction, to the limit of our capacity for a period of 12 months from commencement of the agreement, and may be renewed for further 12-month periods. 

The current annual fee is $360. If you prefer to pay in installments, please call to discuss options. 

For each client signed up under this plan, we will also offer preferred pricing on all computer components (hardware and software) provided under these services.

2. Family Internet Support Plan

For families with several computers and extensive internet access, we offer a plan providing the same coverage, but with a regular schedule of on-site checks of each system - to ensure that all appropriate software is up-to-date; to search for possible hidden problems resulting from security breaches; and to search for signs of potential hardware failures in order to avoid future data loss.

In all cases, we will evaluate your existing operations and security requirements and provide any additional features - whether hardware or software - recommended for your peace of mind.

We can also provide features, such as parental controls on Internet surfing, for family

3. Comprehensive Internet  High Speed Access (‘HS’) Service ‘Package’

In order to accommodate user technical & support concerns about using the Internet and Internet mail for communications and day to day personal and business operations, we are offering an all-inclusive service. 

This service is detailed on our Internet services section, and may, of course be combined with either of our support plans for a fully integrated service experience.

We can provide, configure & support both wired and wireless networks, including installation of information security to a level appropriate to your needs.
